With their amazing initiative to source different and diverse breeds of British sheep and Alpaca, some so rare that are at real risk of being phased out of existence, due mostly to the commercial priorities of our world.

Currently they have 78 different breeds available, with a wealth of knowledge into their possible uses.

Benridge Woolworks is set on the coastline at the Eastern edge of County Durham on a pedigree and commercial livestock farm. Launched on 1st July 2020, Benridge Woolworks is set out to sell especially selected British wool for all uses locally, nationally and internationally.

The nature of this fantastic enterprise is to support British farmers by buying wool at a fair price, to connect people to wool and agriculture, to support local young people and to support local charity in County Durham.
